JAN 15 by 1m    SUBMIT APPLICATION

Send 1-2 page application to ams345@cornell.edu include the following info:
1. Name of all team members, majority of founding team must be Cornell, with atleast one being a current student. List everyone's full name, degree, major, & grad year
2. Name, Email, and phone # of contact person for team
3. Company Name
4. Company Status (existing, or idea stage)
5. Idea/Business Summary
6. Describe your company's business model (how does your company generate revenue)
7. Describe your comapny's customer base  (who will buy  your co. product or service)
8. Estimate addressable market size for your company's product or service (answer in $ or # or other applicable metric)
Entire application should be no more than 2 pages.

Judging Criteria

Clear explanation of the problem (i.e. the customer need or pain) and the proposed solution (i.e. the product or service)? 

Does the  product or service solve a real societal need?

Is the solution unique and differentiated?

Is the business model clear and viable?

What scale of impact, with quantifiable measures, does or could this organization produce?

Does the company know what it takes to 'get to market'?


Rules & Guidelines

Winning team is not required to attend SXSW.  Ticket and opportunity to pitch is not transferable. 

You must pitch at SXSW to receive the Interactive Gold Pass to SXSW. (Attending the festival without pitching is not an option)

Majority of founding team must be Cornell and must have alteast one current Cornell student.  (If two founders, one must be current Cornell student).  

Audition can be held via skype for those students not on Ithaca campus. 

If selected to be in competition, Cornell Student must be present to pitch in person at event on February 3.

Final presentation deck for event is due to ams345@cornell.edu by Feb 1 at midnight.
